Food Truck Cashier
As our Director of First Impressions, you'll be one of the first people customers meet when they approach the food truck. You'll help manage the customer line, answer questions, explain menu items, take orders, process payments, prepare packaging, and work closely with the Food Truck Manager and bakery team.

Pay: $18 per hour
Reports To: Owner / Operations Manager
What You’ll Do
Know the Menu
-
Review the menu before each event.

Learn dessert flavors, ingredients, and pricing.

Answer customer questions accurately.

Share menu changes, specials, and sold-out items.
Welcome Customers
-
Greet customers as they approach the truck.

Explain menu items.
-
Help customers make selections when needed.
-
Maintain a friendly attitude throughout the shift.
Prepare Boxes & Bags
-
Stamp, fold, and prepare dessert boxes and bags.

Package customer orders accurately.
-
Keep packaging neat and ready for service.
Handle Orders & Payments
-
Enter customer orders into the POS system.

Process cash, cards, and mobile payments.
-
Double-check orders before completing transactions.

Provide receipts when applicable.
-
Maintain an organized cash register.
Keep the Line Organized

Help maintain an organized customer line.

Share estimated wait times.
-
Give customers updates on their orders.
Work With the Team

Communicate with the Food Truck Manager and bakery team.

Report customer concerns or order problems.

Notify the manager when inventory is needed.

Follow instructions from the Manager and Owners.
